Dear friends:

We have exciting news! In this newsletter you can find out more about our rapidly approaching 10th anniversary. Explore two brand new itineraries, and Learn about a prototype school program which will be performed on our October 2014 Pushkar Relief Ride.

10 year milestone.
It has been ten exciting, purposeful and adventure filled years for us here at RRI. All of which has been made possible by our incredible team and very supportive group of riders. We are making plans for celebration on our upcoming October 2014 Pushkar Relief Ride. You can read more about our plans to celebrate on our upcoming newsletter.

New 2014/2015 Relief Ride dates.
This past spring we went back to the drawing board, and roved around the desert in a jeep exploring new horse routes. We have re-designed our upcoming October 2014 Pushkar Relief Ride, which now starts from a 650 year old ancient fort in Hirasar, and take us through a dune filled rural desert landscape to the Pushkar Fair. Over 75% percent of this itinerary consists of yet unridden desert track. A great experience for both horse and rider.

Our February 2015 Nagaur Relief Ride, an epic Relief Ride has us start from Pokaran fort, a 14th century citadel built on the crossroad of the Silk Road, and will have us ride through the breathtaking Desert landscape of the Nagaur region of Northwestern Rajasthan all the way to the historic and spectacular Ahhichatragarh Fort, also known as the Nagaur Fort. The immense size of the fort, and it's 28 turrets provide evidence of its glorious past, and today ranks very high amongst India's premier Heritage Forts.

New School Program
In March, we had a wonderful opportunity to figure out and develop a sustainable sanitation program. This program will have us bore a water well and renovate a bathroom for a small local school in Hirasar, Rajasthan. This is a prototype school sanitation program that we hope to be able to perform regularly on future rides.
More information on this program will be made available through one of our upcoming newsletters this summer.

Wishing all of you a wonderful summer ahead.

Sincerely,

Alexander Souri
