Upcoming Rides
The ride itineraries for 2012 include opportunities for great adventure riding through a breathtaking landscape and the chance to purposefully interact with the rural population of Rajasthan. This year we are continuing to develop itineraries in the breath taking semi-mountainous desert terrain of southern Rajasthan.
SARDAR SAMAND RELIEF RIDE: JAN 25 – FEB 8th , 2012
This remarkable itinerary takes us through the Thar desert to wind itself around the stunning Aravelli mountain range, riding from the lakeside Sardar Samand fort to Kumbalgarh. This is the second time we will ride across this 3300 foot mountain range offering unparalleled vistas of the Thar Desert. Kumbalgarh boasts the world’s second longest wall (36 km) built in the 15 century to protect its people. The ride up to the summit takes us through a national park filled with Chinkara, wild boar, and exotic birds. While traversing this stunning landscape we will meet and help local people through all of our humanitarian programs.
NARLAI RELIEF RIDE: FEBRUARY 18 - MARCH 2nd, 2012
Gain intimate insight into rural India while blending adventure travel and humanitarian service through this culturally diverse region. Experience a colorfully eclectic array of wildlife as they water at the oasis by which we camp. Meet Rebari villagers and learn about the ecological principles that guide their lives. The next morning provide medical treatments for their children.
Each Relief Ride is limited to 12 riders.
As always, please contact us if you have questions about upcoming rides or would like more information about our humanitarian programs.
